1876On this day, the foundation stone for the Yahl Wesleyan Church was laid
1876This day also marks the laying of the foundation stone for the Yorketown Wesleyan church
1902On this day, Mr P Jackson laid the foundation stone for the Bute Methodist (later Uniting Church). This was the second church, replacing an earlier Primitive Methodist Church
1906The Lameroo Methodist (later Uniting Church) was opened on this day
1927On this day, the foundation stone for the Glenunga Methodist (later Uniting) Church hall was laid by Mrs P A McBride. The trowel that was used to lay the stone is part of the UCSAHS collection.
1927Mrs P A McBride also laid the foundation stone for the West Hindmarsh Methodist church on this day.
1949A commemorative plaque was unveiled at the Yankalilla Methodist (formerly Wesleyan, and now Uniting) Church on this day.
